Gracious Comments from our Treasured Families

"I just want to say Thank YOU to any staff members who assisted me and my family in the passing of my husband. Everyone we encountered was both friendly and professional. You all helped make a very difficult time go as smoothly as possible. Thank You so very much."

Hello, my name is Carsten Kennedy. I am 12 years old. You probably don't remember but, I am Emma Alexander's Great Great Nephew. You funeralized her about a couple of months ago. I just want to thank the whole staff who were there at that time of our bereavement. And I also want to extend my deepest thanks to the person who upgraded our cars for us. I really liked riding in the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van, it was an experience for me, but not a very good one at that time. If I could ride in that car again with a police escort to school everyday. But again, Thank You Soooooo Much.

"All with whom we met were respectful and kind. I especially appreciated being treated as a rational adult rather than a frail, helpless, elderly female. We are very grateful for the professional and caring service from Small's Mortuary."

"You all are amazing. Keep allowing God to use you all. I could not have asked for better service and treatment in the home going of my mother."

"Thank you so much for the way you cared for my son not as a client but as family! We thank you for the special care and extra patients you gave to him and us."

My name is Terrence Brown and I wanted to take a little of your time to let you know how grateful I am with the service provided to my family and I during the recent loss of my mother. The help that has been provided through the entire ordeal has definitely been appreciated. From shortly before her death to months after her passing, the service provided has been professional.

I would like to personally recognize 3 people for their help during the process. First, I would like to thank Mr. Vincent Sanders. When I initially contacted him regarding my mother's rapid declining health, he immediately showed empathy and gave me practical suggestions regarding some preliminary steps. Then, he put me in touch with Mr. Bobby Brown to help with some pre-planning. Mr. Brown was extremely professional and gave me a number of options to share with my family. The information was useful even if we had decided not to use Small's. When she passed a couple of days later, we were able to make most of our decisions based on everything Mr. Brown had provided.

On the day of the funeral, Mr. Sanders continued to display the utmost professionalism as he transported our family to the service and to Semmes for the repast. Since the funeral, he has continued to check in to see if we needed anything and referred to me other staff members to assist with post-funeral needs. After the funeral, I still needed Small's assistance and that's where Mr. Desi Corley came in. There were still some insurance matters that needed to be settled with the help of calls and documentation that needed to come from Small's. Mr. Corley went above and beyond to provide these additional services. He places calls and did some research for me so that I could complete the necessary paperwork. Then again, 3 months later when more paperwork was needed Mr. Corley came to the rescue and handled the matter promptly.

I have worked and continue to work in employment where quality customer service is a must and ofter overlooked and under-recognized. I could not let this opportunity pass to show my gratitude for the quality service provided by these 3 professionals. Thank you to Small's for your quality service, with a special Thank You for Mr. Sanders, Mr. Corley and Mr. Brown. I will gladly refer anyone in need of bereavement services to Small's and should I need the services again, Small's will be my first and only choice.

 Good Morning,
I would like to express our sincere gratitude for the services provided to our family, The Williams Family, for the professionalism, diligence and acts of kindness during our loved ones Homegoing. It was a Homegoing so deserving of such a great man! You and your team went above and beyond our expectations. Family members and friends are still speaking of how well my dad (Stanley Val Williams Sr.) was laid to rest. We are forever grateful! It is our prayer that you will continue to be true servants that you are called to be and provide the love and concern bereaved families are in need of. May Small's Mortuary & Cremation Services (your ministry) continue to prosper and grow as you serve the community.

Sincerely,
Lisa Martin & The Williams Family
