Obituary for Earlie Miller

Earlie George Miller, a resident of Mobile, AL for than 30 years departed this life for eternity on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Ashland Place Health and Rehabilitation.

He was born to the union of the deceased Mr. & Mrs. Toll (Evie J.) Miller, Sr., in Gadsden, Alabama, on April 29, 1946. He was a 1966 graduate of Carver High School where he lettered in football.
Earlie was a lifelong member of the Christian Methodist Episcopal church; having been reared at St. Johns C.M.E. in Gadsden and later as a member of Taylor’s Chapel C.M.E. in Prichard and at the time of his death, Stewart Memorial C.M.E in Mobile.

Earlie George Miller was preceded in death by his parents; Mr. & Mrs. Toll (Evie J.) Miller, Sr., brothers, Toll Miller, Jr., William James Miller, sisters Lucille Miller Golden and Dr. Mae Jane Weeden.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Dwayne Roland (Dedra Campbell) Miller. three grandchildren; Christopher Dwayne Moore, Jeremiah Dwayne and Maia Elise. ex-wife Reva Saunders; two sisters; Zelma L. Barnes and Ornnie B. Miller; one brother CMSgt. USAF (ret) Jimmie (Lyn) Miller; one sister-in-law Jacqueline Miller and one brother-in-law Theodore R. Golden, Jr.;
Earlie was blessed with numerous nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews; devoted nephew Albert Dean (Monique) Weeden, other relatives and special friends, devoted Ernestine Ross.
