Obituary for Moses Moore Sr.
Moses Moore, Sr. a native and resident of Theodore, Alabama was born September 26, 1938 to the late Mr. Tommie and Mrs. California Moore. Moses departed this life Thursday, January 4, 2017.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers; Freddie Moore, Charlie Woodard, Tommie Moore and Edward Moore and sister, Mary Moore.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife of 55 years; Ruby Moore, four daughters; Peggy (Frederick) Westbrook, Linda (Michael) Knight, Carol (Tony) Eirby, Lora(Patrick) Eirby and one son; Moses Moore, Jr.
four sisters; Louise Moore, Dorothy Moore, Viola Moore and Alice Mae Moore, all of Fort Wayne, IN., one brother; James (Desiree) Moore, Theodore, AL., 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving and caring family and friends.
His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Theodore, Friday, January 12, 2018 from 1 till 5pm and Saturday, January 13, 2018 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour First United Methodist Church, 5451 Washington Blvd. Theodore, AL 36582, Rev. Ronald O. McCants, Pastor and Officiating Minister. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Cemetery.
